Partnerships
An important foundation for all of the London Business School Programmes is project work. For our partners in industry, this means easy access to a highly skilled and enthusiastic project resource, as well as the opportunity to contribute to this valuable educational process. It enables our students to apply their knowledge and expertise in "live" settings, demonstrating the value of the training they have been receiving. Many students describe this as their most valuable learning experience.
Currently Under Consideration
Club Events
We welcome companies within the technology and telecom sectors to participate in our Speaker Series as well as to sponsor and participate in major events such as the Technology Summit, the Silicon Valley Trek, the Technology Career Forum or to host Day Visits for the club to visit their facilities in or around London.
Second Year Project
The Full-time MBA culminates in the Second Year Project. This involves students undertaking a consulting-type project for a client organisation. Students deal with contemporary management issues faced by companies competing in national, regional and global markets. Students tend to work in pairs and will complete around 25 days work each for the client. Faculty supervisors are also assigned to each group. For More Information Click Here.
Summer Internship
The 3 month Summer Placement occurs between mid June and October at the end of the first year and allows students to put their First Year learning into perspective and to gain a better understanding of the relationship between their capabilities and aspirations. For more information Click Here.
Organisational Behaviour Audit
Student groups are required to complete an in-depth examination of a small organisation. Their objectives are to relate conceptual frameworks to the behaviour of the organisation, provide the organisation a data based diagnosis of their internal functioning and to provide advice on issues that arise.
Shadowing
The Shadowing Project enables students to spend time observing the characteristics of a manager at work to learn more about the important issues of managerial behaviour. For the shadowee, the experience provides a useful insight into their approach to work.
